Angelique is a versatile singer of both opera and jazz. As the granddaughter of late jazz drummer/vibraphonist Ray Alexander and the daughter of Russell “Hitman” Alexander of The Hitman Blues Band, she was exposed from an early age to a wide variety of music.

Angelique pursued a musical education in classical voice where her uniquely dark and warm mezzo-soprano voice made her stand out from her peers.  She has continued to use her ability in text painting with her vocal artistry as well as her expressive appearance when singing the varying styles of classical music and jazz. 

 

Angelique is available for hire with an accompanist.
